Shoot the Breeze / How's your day been?
« Last post by Ravenfreak on February 22, 2019, 06:05:28 pm »
Feel free to tell us how your day has been going. It's Friday, which means the beginning of the weekend for most people! My weekend started today, since I now work Monday through Thursday. Tomorrow is a Clampearl research event in Pokemon go that I definitely won't be missing out on! Anyways my day has been pretty chill, just sat around the house and did a few chores.

With the forum rules comes the challenge rules. I think these are important enough to be separated from the forum rules. Anyways these don't specifically go for certain games, but are general rules of the challenge section of the board.

1. Post your own topic for the challenge you are working on. You can post in other people's topics talking about the challenge, but refrain from posting updates in other member's topics.

2. Post the rules of the challenge in your first post, even if the challenge is being worked on by another member. New members may not see older topics, and therefore may not know the exact rules of the challenge.

3. Be sure screenshots are hosted on a appropriate image hosting site. Do not post screenshots or video clips as attachments here.

4. Please tell us if you've abandoned a challenge. This is just for the moderators to delete old topics that are abandoned, to clear the forum. If you do come back to finish your challenge at a later date, please notify a member of staff and we can unlock your old topic.
Good luck with your challenges!
This is the challenge that I will be working on first. This is also the challenge that gave me the idea to make this board! The point of this challenge is to see how many Pokemon you can catch before taking on certain gym leaders or if you're playing a Gen 7 game, kahunas. I'm going to try this challenge first on Yellow version, and then work my way to other generations. I will be posting my updates here, including screenshots at some point. Some basic rules are:
1. You cannot use other versions to complete your dex, so there will be Pokemon you'll be missing out on.
2. No glitches or cheating devices can be used, that one is pretty self explanatory.
Those are really the only major rules you need to keep in mind if you want to do this challenge. I need to set my game up, I haven't done so yet. I own the game in real life, but I don't have the means to take clear screenshots of the game, and can only use my phone to take pictures of my GBA, which doesn't look good so I'll admit I'm using a Emulator. (I won't tell you which one or where I got the game from.) I will return when I have a update!

Hello everyone I'm Ravenfreak! I'm a 28 year old gamer who also loves cartoons! My favorite video game franchise is Sonic the Hedgehog, and my favorite cartoon of all time is Teen Titans. I recently came across some Pokemon challenges, and that gave me the idea to create this forum! I like forums much better than Facebook groups, and I feel that I have more control over posts and the style here than on FB. I also like to hack, and I specialize in hacking the Sega Master System Sonic games, mainly Sonic 1, 2 and Chaos. Cats are my favorite animal, and I just started a new job at a warehouse. Hope to see all your challenges soon!

Hello gamers and welcome to Retro Gaming Challenges, a place where we can post video game challenges as well as create new ones. We have some rules that every member should follow, while using this forum. Please note that these can change at any moment, so please keep that in mind.

1. Please do not post download links to any illegal material, including ROMS. This is not a rom hosting site, if you are looking for roms look elsewhere.

2. Treat all members with respect, regardless of their preferences, gender, etc. If you find someone being attacked, please report the post.

3. Only one account per person. There is no need for someone to have multiple accounts on the board. If you forgot your password, click the "reset password" feature in your user control panel.

4. Please resize your screenshots if they are too big for the board. If the images are too big, the board layout could become too wide for most monitors, resulting in members having to scroll over to read their replies in the quick reply box.

5. Please do not ask to be part of the staff team. When we need new staff members, a topic will be created. Asking in PM will decrease your chances of becoming part of the staff.
I hope you all enjoy your time here. Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions!
